Happy 4th Birthday to the Little Big Festival
The sun shone for the Little Big Festival's 4th birthday party on Sunday 7th May. Crowds came out to spend the afternoon around the bandstand and to sing happy birthday. Speeches by Keith Defter, Head teacher at Commonweal School and Robert Buckland QC were well received. Robert sang and then led the children over to the piñata. Children then had the chance to have their faces painted or have a go on the tombola. Commonweal School and thebigsingthing entertained all afternoon. "A very successful event, it was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves," said Josie Williams, festival coordinator. If you would like to get involved please email [email protected] "This is a good way for folk to raise their profile in the community for free," she added.
